Ingredients:
- 1 cup steel-cut oats
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 3 cups unsweetened almond milk (or skim milk)
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp pure maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Spray your slow cooker lightly with nonstick spray.
- Add oats, apples, almond milk, water, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours (overnight) or high for 3–4 hours, until oats are tender and creamy.
- Serve warm with a sprinkle of chopped nuts or chia seeds for extra crunch and nutrition.
