Crockpot Turkey Chili

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (no salt added)
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add turkey, beans, tomatoes, pepper, onion, garlic, broth, and spices to the crockpot.
  3. Stir well, cover, and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  4. Serve warm with a sprinkle of fresh cilantro or avocado slices if desired.
